Our Practice
Pacific Eye Associates has been San Francisco’s trusted ophthalmology group for over 41 years. Founded in 1985 by Drs. Wayne Fung, Robert Webster, and Arthur Allen, our practice has called the Pacific Professional Building home since — built on a simple but powerful idea: patients with complex eye conditions should be able to see multiple specialists under one roof, without the inconvenience of traveling from office to office. That vision of accessible, comprehensive care remains at the heart of everything we do today.
From routine eye exams and same-day urgent care to advanced surgical procedures, we are committed to making exceptional eye care easy for every patient we serve.
Our Physicians
Our team includes some of the most respected ophthalmologists and optometrists in the Bay Area. All of our physicians are board-certified, fellowship-trained, and sub-specialized in a specific area of eye care — from retina and glaucoma to cornea, uveitis, oculofacial surgery, and more. Many trained at institutions including Stanford, UCSF, Johns Hopkins, and the Cleveland Clinic.
Because of the breadth and depth of our physician group, Pacific Eye Associates is uniquely equipped to address virtually every eye care need in one practice — including LASIK, cataract surgery, corneal transplant, refractive surgery, glaucoma, dry eye, uveitis, ocular infections and inflammatory eye diseases, macular degeneration and other retinal disease, diabetic eye care, eye movement disorders, and oculofacial plastic surgery. Our doctors are committed to staying at the forefront of innovation, combining academic expertise with the latest surgical techniques and technologies to deliver world-class care.
