Danny Lin, MD
Dr. Danny Lin is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive medical and surgical eye care to patients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. With more than two decades at Pacific Eye Associates, he’s known for thoughtful, personalized care — helping patients navigate everything from routine conditions to complex surgical treatment.

Dr. Lin’s practice centers on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of cataracts, using advanced techniques — including premium intraocular lenses, astigmatism correction, and laser-assisted surgery — to improve precision and reduce dependence on glasses whenever appropriate.
In addition to cataract care, Dr. Lin specializes in evaluating and treating corneal disease, managing conditions ranging from Fuchs’ dystrophy and keratoconus to corneal scarring and infections. His surgical expertise includes corneal transplantation procedures such as DSEK and PKP, along with management of complex anterior segment disorders. He also performs LASIK and PRK for refractive correction, and provides medical care for dry eye disease, pterygium, and diabetic eye disease.
Every patient undergoes a thorough evaluation of their vision, eye health, and lifestyle before Dr. Lin develops a personalized care plan — combining evidence-based medicine and meticulous planning to help each patient achieve their best possible vision.
