2 weeks ago I went for my annual eye exam at my usual optometry, HyperOptics. I was seen by a new optometrist this time, did my eye exam and dilation - where he thinks there might be some thinning in my retina and that it can lead to a tear and lose my vision. That's some scary stuff to hear from your eye doctor...Anyways, he wrote me a referral to go see Dr. Zaidi for a second opinion, just to be safe. So I went. Everything was well organized during covid, they check temperature and ask the usual questions before allowing entry, and I filled out my new patient info while I waited. Front desk was able to take all of my insurance info over the phone a week prior to my appointment. Dr. Zaidi was very professional, well knowledge and very reassuring during my exam. I expressed to him that I was concerned after hearing what my last optometrist told me during my exam. Turns out, my eye is just fine and Dr. Zaidi even explained why my previous doc may have thought he seen thinning.They are located inside the Sutter Health building, there is 2 parking garages near by. You can totally snag free street parking if you're determine to save $8/ hr.

I am beyond grateful for Dr. Charlson's care, knowledge, insights and guidance as well as her human approach. I was a bit lost in the weeds of an eye ailment that had gone off the rails over the weekend and she went graciously beyond the bounds of any expectations with information, explanation and a few online resources. She listens to you. Also takes the time to answer all my questions. She created a comfortable during my surgery. Gives me alternative options in treatment, she's awesome.
